Flu Season is Fast Approaching
To help protect you and your loved ones, it is recommended that everyone get the updated flu vaccine each fall, as flu viruses change frequently. Free flu shots for the general population are expected to be available by the end of October at doctors’ and nurse practitioners’ offices, participating pharmacies, and some public health units.
People at higher risk of complications from the flu are eligible to receive their vaccine earlier. Please contact your health care provider or local public health unit for more information.
